World Health Day 2021

In recognition of World Health Day this year, we partnered with The Lamp Counseling Center and KEDO: Building Schools and Building Futures to present a Virtual Health Summit with a host of several Health and Wellness experts.



"During this pandemic we've probably all experienced some kind of loss and the accompanying grief:loss of our routines, freedom of movement, security, jobs, health and even loved ones. Which is why Jessica Jemmott's webinar "How to Navigate Grief" is so timely and important.


Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia and the owner of The Lamp Counseling Center. She has earned a Master of Arts in Professional Counsenling concentraing on clinical mental health and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology. Jessica has 15 years of experience in providing behavioral and emotional support to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She has conducted services through private practice, community health, homes, schools, outpatient clinics, hospitals, and residential settings.

Jessica's community involvement extends through the nonprofit organization, The Lamp with the purpose to meet the needs of individuals holistically through food security, mental & emotional health, and spiritual growth. Jessica is a published author of a women's devotional 'Simply Redeemed' and serves alongside her husband David in ministry through The Lamp Church while parenting their three children Jordan (10), Caleb (6), and Blaire (5).

Jessica is passionate about her work and committed to providing support, services, and resources that allow for a healthy approach to life's challenges and choices.
