The Lamp Café was hosted by The Family Life Community Center in Washington, DC to host a 3-day breakfast event for the community. The Lamp Café introduced it's pay-what-you-can payment method and partnership with One World Everybody Eats, with an impressive homestyle menu including: made from scratch buttermilk biscuits with sausage gravy or chicken fried oyster mushrooms, Jem's Jerk Chicken wrap, veggie omelet, shrimp & grits, bagels, fruit, coffee, and homemade desserts including - carrot cake, banana puddin', and maple bourbon pecan pie!
The food was an absolute favorite among many, and what we enjoyed most of all was that EVERYONE had access to good food!
